EDWARDSVILLE — An Alton woman was charged with possession of a stolen auto, meth and another person’s credit card Tuesday.
Trina G. Skelton, 43, listed as homeless out of Alton, was charged Oct. 31 with offenses relating to motor vehicles, a Class 2 felony; unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a Class 3 felony; and unlawful possession of a debit or credit card of another, a Class 4 felony.
The case was presented by the Alton Police Department.
According to court documents, on Sept. 23 Skelton allegedly had a stolen 2003 Buick LaSabre, less than five grams of methamphetamine and a debit card without the consent of the cardholder.
She was ordered released from custody.
In an unrelated case, three Granite City residents were charged with forgery.
Paige M. Keils, 27, and Heather N. Werner, 39, both of the same address, and Donald P. Millas, 37, were all charged with forgery, all Class 3 felonies.
The cases were presented by the Collinsville Police Department.
According to court documents, on July 25 Keils and Werner allegedly attempted to pass a bad check for $500 made out to Werner and Millas attempted to pass a bad check for $500 to himself, all drawn from the same commercial account.
All three were ordered released from custody.
In a separate case, Marvion D. Gilmore, 29, of Granite City, was charged with forgery, a Class 3 felony.
The case was presented by the Granite City Police Department.
According to court documents, on June 6 Gilmore allegedly attempted to pass a bad check for $500 from another person.
He was ordered released from custody.
Other theft-related felony cases filed Oct. 31 by the Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office include:
• Emily A. Wideman, 19, of Roxana, was charged with identity theft, a Class 3 felony. The case was presented by the Roxana Police Department. According to court documents, on Jan. 23 Wideman allegedly used personal identification information of another person to obtain a student loan valued in excess of $3,000 through Sallie Mae. She was ordered released from custody.
• Joey L. Holoman, 34, of Alton, was charged with theft under $500 (second subsequent offense), a Class 4 felony. The case was presented by the Alton Police Department. According to court documents, on Sept. 8 Holoman allegedly took a backpack valued at less than $300 from another person. He has a conviction for residential burglary out of Madison County in 2015. He was ordered released from custody.
• Christopher C. Wash, 44, of Florissant, Missouri, was charged with deceptive practices, a Class 4 felony. The case was presented by the Granite City Police Department. According to court documents, between April 13-17 he allegedly attempted to obtain control over auto parts belonging to Weber Chevrolet by passing bad checks for $1,163.54 and $386.54. He was ordered released from custody.
These individuals have only been charged and remain innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. All charges may not be reported.
