A carjacking suspect and a police canine each died Wednesday after a pursuit ended with a crash and a shootout in suburban Chicago, authorities stated.
Officers had been making an attempt to execute a visitors cease in South Elgin on a person needed on a warrant when the person fled to Batavia, the place he crashed at an intersection, the Kane County Sheriff’s Workplace stated.
The suspect received out of his automobile holding a handgun, at which level the police canine was turned free, the sheriff’s workplace stated.
