After PwC used confidential authorities data to solicit extra work from a division, the federal government despatched the consulting agency a “pleasant” letter reminding it to not do it once more and thanking the agency for its efforts. 

The consulting agency, which had been engaged as a “strategic accomplice” of the Division of Agriculture, Water and the Surroundings as a part of a $40 million contract, was warned in November 2021 over “excessive ranges of direct sourcing and issues across the strategic accomplice utilizing confidential data to make unsolicited proposals”.
