Nthenge is the chief of the Good Information Worldwide Church, which police allege “brainwashed” residents into ravenous themselves to demise.
The cult chief turned himself in to police and was charged final month after two youngsters starved to demise whereas within the custody of their mother and father, native media reported. He was launched on bail of 100,000 Kenyan shillings ($750 or Ꞓ670).
