Arucas will host the third version of the ‘Soltura’ competition, this Sunday, organised by the Ministry of Tradition by the CAAM, Atlantic Centre of Fashionable Artwork

After the success of the 2 earlier editions, held in Firgas and Valsequillo, town of Arucas will host the third version of the ‘Soltura’ Competition of Sustainability and Tradition on April 16, organised by the Tradition Division of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, by the CAAM, Atlantic Centre of Fashionable Artwork, and the collaboration of the Arucas City Council.

The occasion, which can happen within the historic centre of the City, between 09:30 and 21:00, will fill the streets with completely different actions open to citizen participation, reminiscent of live shows, kids’s workshops, storytelling, visits to cultural areas, and creative actions amongst others. A variety of leisure, informative, creative and musical actions can be displayed within the Parque de las Flores, the Museum and the Municipal Library of Arucas, Nuevo Teatro Viejo de Arucas, the Plaza de la Constitución, Calle León y Castillo and the Plaza de San Juan.

The ‘Soltura’ 2023 program consists of this 12 months, all through the day, a minimum of eleven live shows by Los Sabandeños, La Sra. Tomasa, Chambao, Marta Bolaños, Germán López, Escuela de Verseadores, Faneroque, Yull Ballesteros Trío , Alba Gil Aceytuno, Biphasic and OM Domínguez & Village Band.
