Gang violence: Brazilian mission in Haiti to be closed down 


After 13 years in Haiti, a Brazilian inter-congregational mission in a displaced individuals camp on the outskirts of Port-au-Prince is about to shut completely as a consequence of violence within the area.

The Nazareth Inter-Congregational Missionary Group was based by the Nationwide Convention of Bishops of Brazil (CNBB) and the Convention of Non secular of Brazil (CRB) after the earthquake devastated Haiti in 2010.

The mission operated in Corail Cesse-Lesse, outdoors Port-au-Prince.

Over time, the missionaries offered quite a few social providers to the local people and attended to their non secular wants.
